The 10th Mini Summit on Food Safety, Policy and Sustainability will be held by our college, in collaboration with the Department of Nutrition and Food Science, on October 29-31, 2017 at College Park Marriott Hotel & Conference Center.

Our college was invited two years ago to join the University of Georgia, Auburn University, National Taiwan Ocean University, Shanghai Ocean University and Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences to form a six-institution consortium for the faculty/scientists to have greater international collaboration opportunities in agricultural research, education and service.  Faculty from these institutions have met regularly at the annual mini summit to present ongoing research findings and to form new collaborations in areas of mutual interest, including in the areas of food safety and security.
