To graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics, one needs to meet the University of Maryland, College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, and Dietetics Program requirements. Students must complete:

  1. All the General Education credits. For further information you can refer to Student Handbook 2018-2019 or 2018-2019 undergraduate catalog.
  2. All the courses marked with an asterisk in the four year plan with a grade of "C-" of better.

Due to the competitive nature of the Dietetic Internship program, students are recommended to strive for a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better not only in all the science and DPD courses but overall as well.

All students graduating from Dietetics receive a verification statement from the DPD Director. This is an official document, which indicates that a student meets all academic and professional requirements by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition.
