All applicants must have completed the on-line DICAS application and submitted additional materials must be received by the University of Maryland College Park by February 15, 2019.  Materials include: application fee made payable to University of Maryland ($40), international student applicants must submit the international students form and TOEFL scores.

Applicants must register on-line at D&D Digital, pay the $55 computer match fee by credit card, and enter both their contact information and Dietetic Internship preferences by 11:59 p.m. Central Time -- February 15, 2019.

Late February - mid March, 2019

Selected applicants for the University of Maryland Dietetic Internship College Park will be interviewed following receipt of their application.

March 25-April 1, 2019Applicants who have registered for the match by February 15, 2019 can change their Dietetic Internship priority rankings; however, no additional internships can be added to the list.  No changes in DI rankings may be made after 11:59 p.m. Central Time -- April 1, 2019. The matching fee is not refundable.
April 1, 2019Deadline for Dietetic Internship Directors to on-line verify, enter or edit Dietetic Internship matching information and applicant ranking.  No changes may be made after April 1, 2019. 


April 7, 2019 beginning at 6:00 PM CST

Applicant matching results will be posted on D&D Digital from 6:00 p.m. Central Time April 7, 2019 through April 8, 2019 (Appointment Day).  There is ONLY one source of notification for applicants.  Each applicant will receive either ONE MATCH or NO MATCH after log-in.

Applicants who receive NO MATCH will be given other instructions.


April 8, 2019

Match applicants MUST CONTACT the Dietetic Internship program by telephone, FAX, or e-mail on or before 6:00 p.m. (time zone of the program), April 8, 2019, to confirm acceptance of the MATCH.  After this time, the program is under no obligation to hold the opening for the matched applicant.

April 11, 2019

Names of Dietetic Internship programs that did not fill their class and authorized release of their name will be posted on D&D Digital.  Applicants who did not match and Dietetic Internship Directors with openings may contact each other. 

May - July, 2019 Incoming Interns will receive pre-program homework assignments, including a technology placement/assessment tool.  Interns will receive another copy of the Memorandum of Agreement and send in a signed copy.
June 15, 2019 Deposit of the program fee ("initial payment") of $4,000.00 will be received.
 July 15, 2019 Deposit of the remainder of the program fee of $3,700.00 will be received no later than this date.
