Every fall, senior dietetic students begin applying for the Dietetic Internship, which is 1200 hours that must be completed at clinical, community and food service in the preparation of becoming an RD. This requires extensive preparation for the application process. To support students, four critical meetings are held by the Dr. Margaret Udahogora, the Dietetic Program Director in the department of nutrition and food science. Additionally, all applicants meet with the Director to review their resume.

We are grateful to our alumni who are committed to sharing their successful experiences with our seniors and this has been an invaluable resource for students.

This year on December 6th for a FAN club meeting, we had the following alumni;

Philip Bobrowsky (Intern at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center)

Anna Bondy, MPH, RD (Dietitian for WIC, Johns Hopkins)

Meaghan Butler, RD (Clinical Dietitian, Washington Adventist Hospital specializing in renal and diabetic patients)

Melinda Eyler-Cater (Intern with Sodexo)

Brooke Patton (Intern with Priority Nutrition Care Dietetic Internship)
