There are numerous scholarships available for students majoring in Nutrition, Food Science or Dietetics. Scholarship opportunities exist through the Department of Nutrition and Food Science, including the Robert Facchina Scholarships. In addition, the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, and the Institute of Food Technologists offer scholarships for students.

Food Science Scholarships
The Food Science major offers opportunities for scholarships and achievement awards from the department, like the Robert Facchina Scholarship, as well as from the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, the Institute of Food Technologists, Maryland D.C. Dairy Technology, C.W. England scholarships, and the Forbes Chocolate Leadership Award.
Scholarship opportunities are sometimes available through the department, the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, the Maryland Academy of Nutrition and Dietitics, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and the Institute of Food Technologists.
